On Friday 16 August 2019, we will join a tour of the port of Flushing. The cruise is offered by port authority North Sea Port and is provided by shipping company Denick on the ship the Denick II.

The cruise lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours.

After passing through the locks, you will sail up the Westerschelde towards the Sloehaven in Vlissingen and Borsele where you will sail through the ports/docks. There is an explanation by a guide of what you all see and hear. From (new) businesses to historical and new developments.

Practical information:

12.45am Embarkation at the Binnenhaven, Stationsplein (diagonally opposite Vlissingen NS railway station). Parking at the NS station is free.

13.00 Afvaart and passing the locks

16.00 o'clock End of round trip

  • We have signed up KIVI region Zeeland as a group (25 participants). There will also be other participants/groups on this boat (max 200).
  • Catering is available on board, please do not bring your own drinks or food.
  • The ship is accessible for wheelchair users. A stair lift and disabled toilet are available on board. Assistance and guide dogs are allowed.
