Among other things, Zeeland is known for selling shellfish, apples, pears, potatoes and onions. But did you know that most of the ferns sold worldwide are also made in Zeeland? The company Vitro Plus produces starting material for ferns, some 45 million ferns in 150 different species every year. How do you grow a plant from prehistoric times in a state-of-the-art and successful way? A tip of the iceberg may come to hear and see for ourselves as visitors to this excursion. We invite you to an excursion/business presentation at Vitro Plus in Burgh-Haamstede at the head of Schouwen. The founder/owner John Bijl is willing to show us around in the evening, so that people working during the day can also participate. The programme is as follows:

Practical information
Parking is available at the site. During the tour, you should wear a cover around your shoes. These will be provided by the company. There are stairs to the presentation area, no lift. Public transport: There will be a bus, but limited times in the evening.
