Description
We are guests of J. Knieriem in Goes. This typical family business has been around since 1843. Knieriem is therefore a company with a long experience as a supplier of car materials and traffic signs.
One specialises in making number plates and everything that goes with them. The plates can be made in all desired dimensions. For this production, the company has automated production lines, hotprint machines and presses with various dies (both steel and glass-fibre reinforced material).
Furthermore, the company specialises in making traffic signs.
In addition to standard RVV traffic signs, the company also produces in addition to standard RVV traffic signs, advertising signs, double-sided or otherwise, are also manufactured.
The installations are designed and supplied complete with portals.
The production package also includes the well-known vehicle markings such as "Exceptional Transport", "Long Cargo" and ADR signs (also folding).
The plastic injection moulding work is special. This is used to make the holders for number plates. The traffic sign brackets and small parts required are also injection-moulded in-house.
But small series (approx. 1000 pieces) to customer specifications are also possible. For example, the company made the plastic cap in the shape of a Zeeland button for bicycle bells. These bicycle bells have been marketed with great success by a student company (ZBC SC in Vlissingen).
