OVET
Description
At the members' meeting, members indicated that they would like to pay a company visit to transhipment company OVET b.v. OVET has agreed to host us. We are welcome on 15 December 2011 at the terminal on Kaloothaven in Vlissingen.
OVET is a company specialising in the storage, transhipment and processing of bulk products, particularly solid fuels and ores. With its floating cranes, OVET operates throughout the Westerschelde area of Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Ghent, as well as at anchorages in the Westerschelde. OVET has two terminals in Vlissingen and Terneuzen.
In 2007, the latest floating crane with a lifting capacity of 36 tonnes was commissioned. OVET also has three more floating cranes with a lifting capacity of 25 tonnes. OVET now employs more than 100 people.
In addition to a company presentation, a tour of the terminal will be provided, during which we will also have the opportunity to take a look at a floating crane!
An itinerary and detailed schedule will follow a week before the company visit
