Description

Indaver is a large waste treatment company (approximately 800 employees) in Belgium (Flanders). DELTA N.V. of Zeeland is the largest shareholder of INDAVER (75%).

As a high-tech company, Indaver specialises in sustainable and integrated waste management for companies and governments. Indaver has a wide range of processing facilities. Solutions such as reuse, recycling, composting, fermentation, thermal treatment and landfill are used for waste.

Having already paid a very interesting company visit to INDAVER's waste treatment plant in Doel in 2007, we are now going to take a look at the plant in Willebroek (Belgium). At this site, they skip bulky and household waste from surrounding municipalities and PMD waste (Plastic bottles and flasks, Metal packaging and Drinks cartons) is sorted and further separated with high-tech separation facilities, making the waste suitable for further processing as a secondary raw material.

You are most welcome (after mandatory registration) on Friday 24 June 2011 at 14.00.
A week before the start of this company visit, you will receive a route description and detailed programme.
