Company visit to Volvo Cars Ghent. The visit consists of an introduction followed by a visit (on foot) to the Welding Plant and Final Assembly.
Registration for KIVI members
For KIVI members the participation fee is €15 p.p. KIVI members who have registered and paid €15 will receive the registration fee back after signing the list of participants at Volvo Cars Ghent.
Registration for non-members/introducer(s)
Participation for introducer(s) is also €15 p.p. Registration is possible from 1 to 16 February on condition that the maximum number of 30 participants has not yet been reached. Guests will not receive a refund of the registration fee.
Volvo has the following minimum requirements for visitors:
- The minimum age is 16 years.
- The visit is on foot. Visitors with motor disabilities and/or wheelchair users are welcome, but we ask that they are able to follow the tour and that the group vouches for these visitors.
- In order to protect the privacy of our employees, no photographs are allowed.
- Safety is important. We ask that groups follow the guides' guidelines and visit only those places we open for visits. Groups should stay on the pedestrian paths, not walk between the lines or touch the cars or carriages. If a group does not follow these guidelines, a visit may be aborted without entitlement to a refund.
- Personal protective equipment: Put on sturdy shoes(preferably safety shoes) (no loose slippers, sandals or stiletto heels for example). Ultimately, you will be in an industrial environment and your attire should be appropriate to this.
