Back to Drienerlo - Lustrum Alumni Days University of Twente
On 8 and 9 May 2026, the University of Twente will open its doors for a special two-day anniversary event: the Lustrum Alumnidagen. UT is celebrating its 65th anniversary and doing so together with the people who have shaped the university - its alumni.
For many KIVI members, the UT is a familiar name: as an alma mater, as a cooperation partner or as the place where the technical foundation was laid. The alumni days are therefore an excellent opportunity to renew old study ties, make new contacts and catch up on the latest developments in science and engineering.
The programme offers lectures and inspiration sessions on current topics such as AI, biomedical innovation and the future of mobility - subjects that are everyday fare for engineers. On Saturday, the spectacular finish of the Batavierenrace is included: the moment that takes former UT graduates straight back to their student days.
Participation is possible per day, including meal and drinks. There is a special rate for young alumni (up to 35 years old).
