Video part 1

Video part 2

Description

Drones have become an integral part of our lives. In natural disasters, they are used to survey the damage. Police use them for surveillance and develop techniques to intercept dangerous drones. In the home, a drone can become the new butler, flying around the room with a cup of tea. You can also race them spectacularly!

Three speakers shed their light on the subject:

- Norman Kerle, Associate Professor of Geoinformatics for Disaster Risk Management, talks about how drones can help with natural disasters.
- Arjen Stobbe, working for the Aviation Police, explains how the police deploy and intercept drones.
- Rosa Kuipers, team manager of Blue Jay Eindhoven, develops domestic drones and talks about how they are used in the household.

PLEASE NOTE: the announced drone race + show in the Gallery is cancelled and will probably be held later in the season
