Recently, Bitcoin has frequently made the news due to the insane price rise this digital currency has experienced over the past year. There is much debate about the stability of this currency and investment opportunities, for example. But what about the promising technology behind crypto currencies: blockchain technology? After all, this technology is not only applicable to crypto coins but also has many other applications. What could such a blockchain society look like and how does it work?

The first presentation Peter Langela. He is business developer at Novel-T and liaises with both researchers and entrepreneurs. He helps companies in applying new technologies such as Blockchain Technology.
The second speaker this afternoon is Djuri Baars, co-lead Blockchain Team at Rabobank.
