The KIVI Innovation Drinks Twente on 3rd of December was a great success with big attendence and enthousiastic speakers. The next one will be on 17th of March with Nanotechnology as theme, so note this date because it will be interesting again!

Students and young professionals in the field of engineering are invited to a new edition of the KIVI Innovation Drinks Twente. This edition will start with two inspiring presentations about robotics and will conclude with an informal networking drink.

We are proud to announce presentations by Nico Nijenhuis and Prof. Stefano Stramigioli.

Nico Nijenhuis, CEO of Clear Flight Solutions and alumnus of the University of Twente, will speak about the use of Robirds and drones in the fields of bird control and (industrial) inspections. This inspiring entrepreneur started with a master thesis on Robirds which lead to a successful company.

Stefano Stramigioli, chairman of Robotics and Mechatronics at the University of Twente and chairman of RoboNED, will speak about the present state of Robotics and current developments/possibilities of Robotics in Twente.
