Description
Students and young professionals in the field of engineering are invited to a new edition of the KIVI Innovation Drinks Twente. This edition will start with three inspiring presentations about start-ups and will conclude with an informal networking drink.
We are proud to announce presentations by Mike Verkouter, Herbert Berkhout and Sander Nijenhuis.
Mike Verkouter, Startup and Area Development Coach at Kennispark Twente, will give an introduction about the support you can expect from Kennispark Twente as a new entrepreneur. He assists students in starting and growing a successful business and area development; creating a booming innovation campus/business location, for a leading innovation hub in the Netherlands.
Herbert Berkhout, one of the founders of the start-up SoundEnergy, will speak about Thermo Acoustic Technology for sustainable climate control of buildings. Also he will tell us about the way he brought his three partners together to found SoundEnergy. SoundEnergy has won the Young Technology Award of 2015.
Sander Nijenhuis, founder and CEO of Fortes Group BV, will speak about the way a total package of professional project and portfolio management is provided. Fortes enables organizations for over 15 years to get more eficiency out of their projects, programs and portfolios thanks to the software solution; Principal Toolbox. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University Twente and with Fortes he did won the Van Kroonenberg price of 2008.
We also welcome Nico van Haastrecht as KIVI Engineers Coach. He will be available to provide you answers on questions you may have after the presentations being given on this KIVI Innovation Drinks Twente Start-Ups event. The KIVI engineers coaches provide guidance for your start-up, CV/LinkedIn Check, job application and career counselling.
