Description

With his background in nuclear physics, Diederik Samsom is one of the few betas in Hague politics. What are the advantages of having a more exact view of the world? Before entering the Lower House, he worked for Greenpeace. How does he realise his sustainability ideals these days? And where does he stand on the closure of all German nuclear power plants since Fukushima?

Diederik Samsom studied technical physics at TU Delft, worked for Greenpeace, founded the company Echte Energie and, above all, is a prominent PvdA member.

Hiska Bakker and Peter Timmerman of Studium Generale will talk to him and are open to questions from the audience. This activity is organised in cooperation with Studium Generale and HV Ockham
