The programme of Route Suc6 starts at 17:30 with a buffet at The Gallery.
The lecture starts at 18:30. First, Reynier van Bommel of Schoenfabriek Wed. J.P. van Bommel will speak. In 1734, the Van Bommel family started producing handmade quality shoes in Breda, the Netherlands. Currently, the brothers Reynier, Floris and Pepijn van Bommel lead the family business as the 9th generation. The knowledge passed on from father to son is still applied today in the manufacture of the Van Bommel shoe. Since 1952, Van Bommel has been a purveyor to the Royal Court by royal decree.
Next, you will hear the story of entrepreneur Dennis de Lima, who started the Foot Engineering company.
