Description

Bart Leclercq, a structural engineer in Dubai, has been working with top architects on the most spectacular skyscrapers for 11 years.

In his lecture, Leclercq will explain how to solidly erect gigantic skyscrapers of some 800 metres. What kind of calculations are involved? How flexible does such a tower have to be to withstand wind and/or earthquakes?
And is living in a tower different from standing with both feet on the ground?

One thing is certain, this is going to be a dizzying lecture!
Be on time because VOL = VOL
