The Young Alumni Network of the University of Twente (YAN) and KIVI Students Twente are jointly organising a company visit to PhiX Photonics Assembly. PhiX is located right opposite the DesignLab, on Hengelosestraat.
Purpose of the visit
The purpose of this visit is to give students a good idea of the interdisciplinary work being done at PhiX - now and in the future - and to let them experience what it is like to work at PhiX in different functions (both technical and non-technical).
Programme - maximum 26 participants
- 16:00 - Walk-in with coffee, tea, water and a light snack
- 16:15 - Presentations:
- Introduction presentation on PhiX
- Short presentations by two or three UT alumni working at PhiX and sharing their experiences
- 16:45 - Company tour and demonstration
- 17:15 - Informal drinks, with non-alcoholic drinks and finger food. Students will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with UT alumni and other colleagues at PhiX about, for example, internships, graduation projects or other opportunities.

Purpose of the visit
The aim is to give students a clear impression of the interdisciplinary work being done at PhiX - both now and in the future - and to offer insight into what it's like to work there in different roles (technical and non-technical).
Programme - max. 26 participants
- 16:00 - Walk-in with coffee, tea, water, and light snacks
- 16:15 - Presentations:
- A brief introduction to PhiX
- Short talks by two or three UT alumni working at PhiX, sharing their experiences
- 16:45 - Company tour and demonstration
- 17:15 - Informal drinks with non-alcoholic beverages and finger food. Students will have the opportunity to talk with alumni and other PhiX colleagues about internships, graduation projects, or other opportunities.
