Every year, the Veer Foundation organises a large and high-profile symposium, bringing together 250 top students and 250 so-called 'designers'.

The shapers are people with high social impact from e.g. business, politics, the arts or academia. The aim is to connect students with these shapers to create new insights, unique encounters and interesting interactions.

On 24 June 2021, the 42nd Veerstichting Symposium will take place. A day where we will address the theme 'Blind Trust'. What is your trust still worth in this day and age? Does trust create a blind spot? And what if trust turns out to be the only option?

This year, the symposium has an alternative format, with 50 'Feather Tables' placed throughout the Netherlands. At these tables sit 6-8 designers and students, who experience the symposium together (physically) via a live stream. There will also be special interaction moments and workshops. In short, a special event creating a unique connection between generations!

On 24 June 2021, we will look each other in the eye again and enter into a dialogue. Do you want to be there? Then sign up now! For students, this can be done via an application form. The deadline for this is 12 April 2021! For more information, see the leaflet or go to Veerstichting.nl! For a short mood impression, you can already watch the aftermovie of the 2019 symposium! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CscWotHKLpo
