The first edition of PREFER for students is a fact. At Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), over drinks and guided by Young KIVI Engineers (YKE), students were introduced to the PREFER model and took the first steps in their career development as future engineers.

During the interactive workshop, participants gained insight into their personal skills, professional preferences and development opportunities. Using a pre-completed test and joint reflection with the facilitator, students discovered where their strengths lie and which roles within the engineering profession might suit them well.

The session not only offered valuable self-insights, but also a low-threshold opportunity to discuss with fellow students their future as professionals in engineering.
