Our contribution the realism of energy policies as proposed by the various Political Parties

The sounding board group Engineers & Energy Transition of the Royal Institute of Engineers has studied the election manifestos of the larger parties. The programmes set out the parties' ambitions. CPB calculated the programmes economically. But KIVI IenE looked precisely at the feasibility and timeliness of the proposed approaches. Unfortunately, we miss concrete proposals in the programmes to be realised in the next cabinet period. KIVI IenE has limited itself to a few topics that fit the energy section:

  1. Nuclear Energy Acceleration
  2. Grid congestion Solution
  3. Thorium SMRs
  4. Hydrogen Industry
  5. Offshore wind

In short, which party dares to mention policies that are stakes in negotiations for a new government now?
