At the North Sea Symposium, professionals from the North Sea domain came together for an afternoon of presentations, a panel discussion and networking. A lot of knowledge was shared and current developments and challenges within the field were discussed.
Besides the substantive sessions, there was also room for informal moments. For example, during one of the presentations, a lace that had come untied was spontaneously tied, which caused a hilarious moment in the room and immediately typified the open and relaxed atmosphere of the afternoon. An important lesson because: Safety First!
Between sessions, there was an opportunity to further engage with each other over food and drinks. This resulted in many valuable meetings and conversations and nicely showed the strength of KIVI: bringing together professionals from different disciplines and organisations around shared social and technical issues.
With a great turnout and many committed participants, we look back on a symposium. Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the afternoon. Below is a selection of photos that gives a nice picture of the event!
