Miguel Delcour concluded the 2020 series of Inspiring Talks, due to the new lockdown with a cosy Teams session, on 17 December. Eight engineers followed the lifeline of the 75-day KIVI president. KIVI invites young people to the working table to be inspired by top business, political and civil society figures.

Miguel talks easily about his life. He should, his Montessorian upbringing taught him to fend for himself. In the beginning of his life, that seemed within the family tradition of printing and bindery. But soon it was clear "I choose my own path". Entrepreneurial in China and finishing three courses in 12 years, ready for a colourful life line. "Hindsight is only conscious" he proudly quotes. "Have fun in what you do and do it with full devotion". Like Pippi Longstocking: "I've never done it before, so I think I can do it". "Don't pay attention to so much your career path when you are on it. Looking back, you will see that everything will fall into place" he tipped the younger participants.

Networking! According to him, this is an important investment to make young. Even if you don't do it consciously, find people during your student days with whom you can then have a good time. The world is small, you will meet them later. Of course, he concludes that young people can use -much better than they suspect- KIVI's network, if they ask for it. "At least you can always call me".
