One of KIVI's main statutory objectives is to 'promote high-quality technological education'. To achieve this objective, KIVI has set up the Training, Profession and Career Council (ROBL).
The ROBL promotes the quality of scientific and higher engineering education in the Netherlands and the good cohesion between engineering education and society's need for engineers. In addition, the ROBL will promote lifelong learning programmes for engineers and related qualifications and titles.
The ROBL is a continuation of the Training Council that was active at KIVI until about 10 years ago.
The Council is chaired by KIVI chief executive officer Prof Dr R.F. Mudde.
