Member of the KIVI Council Science, Technology and Society

KIVI's Council Science, Technology and Society (RWTM) implements the strategy of being more visible and involved in society. To this end, the RWTM makes connections with politics and the media and advises the Executive Board on developments in society that are relevant to KIVI's strategy. The RWTM also encourages departments to be externally active in their field or region. Main Board decisions on 'department spokespersons' and 'political advice' form the basis for this. • Organising and awarding once every 5 years the "Conrad's premium" established in 1870.
  • Advising the main board on social developments and the annual theme.

In addition, other tasks may be developed within the above objectives.

  • Very considerable experience in the technology-society field in government, science or industry. In, for example, politics, administration, policy or journalism.
