What is the members' council
Description
This activity has been cancelled
The Members' Council of KIVI is the association's 'parliament'. This important body controls the main board and decides on the association's policy and budget. The member council also appoints the members of the main board.
In this meeting for new members of the member council, the purpose and tasks of the member council are discussed. Prospective members of the Member Council, members of the Central Board and staff of the KIVI Bureau are also welcome.
Topics:
- KIVI organisational structure and regulations
- Legal framework
- Statutory duties powers
- The Members' Council and the Internal Regulations
- The KIVI manual for the Members' Council
- Role of the Members' Council committee
- Task of the financial committee
In a lively discussion, we discuss the role of Members' Council and how it is fulfilled within KIVI.
Not only the tasks and powers are discussed, but also what the council does not do. This is based on the principle "The board manages and the members' council controls"
