With this award, KIVI puts the engineers of the future and the engineering profession in the spotlight. The winner may call himself or herself Engineer of the Year for a year
About the Prince Friso Engineer Prize
Every year, the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI) awards the prestigious Prince Friso Engineer Prize to an engineer who excels in expertise, innovation, social impact, entrepreneurship and ambassadorship. This will take place during the Day of the Engineer.
This award, named after the late Prince Friso, brother of King Willem-Alexander, honours his legacy as an engineer in mechanical and aerospace engineering, and his valued membership at KIVI.
