The Netherlands has been working on offshore wind energy since the end of the last century. After a difficult start, from which we have learned a lot, the roll-out of offshore wind power is now a great success. What makes the Dutch system so successful, what "problems" have we already solved and what challenges remain as we continue to grow as part of the energy transition? Lieke Berkenbosch, coordinator of offshore wind energy at Rijkswaterstaat and Ruud de Bruijne, coordinator of offshore wind energy at Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland will discuss the spatial integration of offshore wind energy and cooperation with market parties.
