The Department of Asset Management & Maintenance is organising a series of online sessions in 2023 covering aspects in the field of technical management and maintenance (TBO) in buildings.
All webinars in this year deal with the central theme "Collaboration". Not surprisingly, but oh so important. The theme returns again and again as we follow developments in staff shortages, data-driven applications and new forms of contracts.
The sessions will be recorded in the time block from 16:30 to 18:00 so that people can watch them again via the KIVI website. The sheets will be shared in pdf via the KIVI website. After 18:00, there will be an opportunity to talk digitally until 18:30.
Wednesday 5 April 2023 will focus on collaboration within a university's Smart Campus. Our speakers Dr Marcel van Oosterhout and Rin-Sjoerd Zijlstra will elaborate on their experiences regarding a Smart Campus from their role as programme managers.
At Erasmus University Rotterdam, a two-year Smart Campus project started in 2022, see https://ecda.eur.nl/smart-campus-project/ This project examines challenges in the areas of sustainability, space utilisation and well-being of campus users, where use and visualisation of data offer opportunities for improvement. Central to the project is the search for synergy in cooperation between Professional Real Estate and ICT services, researchers, student projects and external suppliers and partners.
A Smart Campus programme has also been launched at TU Delft with the goals of increasing user convenience, improving portfolio management and operational services. Internal cooperation and coordination are challenging, in addition, there will be a lot of collaboration with external parties.
Both gentlemen will give an insight into the developments and state of play of the Smart Campus programmes.
The aim of this webinar is, through the presentations, statements and interaction, to deepen our understanding of the collaboration aspects that play an important role in these complex situations.
