Description

Anyone trained as an engineer will have to deal with project-based work with some regularity. This sounds so obvious that you would expect employers to consider it a great advantage if you have a degree or certificate from a reputable course or training in Project Management. But is this really the case? Does this give you an edge and does this effort pay off, or not?

We put this question to Ir. Dick van Vlooten, experienced Trainer and Interim Project Manager. He knows this world with its various courses and currents like the back of his hand, but takes his own approach in this. He will personally take us through the do's and don'ts, interspersing his story with interesting 'if not's' from practice; what could happen if you do things differently, what could go wrong and with what consequences? From this insight, it no longer feels like an obligation but a logical choice to tackle things project-wise. Afterwards, personal experiences in this area can be exchanged over a drink.
