Climate-neutral steel production is a major challenge for the global steel industry

Tata Steel's ambition is to makecarbon-neutral steel by 2045. It is therefore important to look ahead in time to what is needed between 2030- 2045 for Tata Steel's ambition.

From KIVI Business Administration, we are particularly interested in how the process to decision-making and realisation is set up. We have asked our host to highlight the following aspects:

  • what business cases have you made to beCO2 neutral by 2045,
  • how much effort will it take to make the last 20% a reality,
  • what difficult choices did you have to make,
  • how you managed to keep a revenue model,
  • what have been the learning moments so far that you had not anticipated,
  • how risky was this initiative in the first place,
  • we have been in the Warmband - what specific changes,
  • to what extent is your shareholder/owner interfering in this process.

15.00 h Start tour with factory visit to the Warmband; the plan is to drive past the new Energy Port and Tennet point on the way, which ties in with the topic of Albert's presentation.

Register

At registration you will be asked for your name and date of birth as stated in your passport, this is required for entry to the venue. You will also be asked if there are any dietary requirements regarding the sandwiches to be served.
