Description

KIVI Commercial Engineer has put together two very interesting workshops on teamwork. Target audience is anyone who works in a team and, of course, managers who want to get more out of their team. Register now for both workshops. A sandwich meal will be provided in between, and there will be a networking drink at the end!

Workshop 1: "Get more out of your team" by Margot Dijker

If you think there is more to get out of your collaborative team then this workshop might be for you. We will discuss components of successful teams, do a team activity with the group of participants, you will diagnose your team and discuss actions that can lead to better team performance.

The workshop will be interactive in nature. During a shared activity, participants will gain insight into the success factors of a team. We will then address the following questions:
- What are team success factors?
- How can these factors improve team performance?
- How successful is your own team and which success factor needs attention?
- What actions can make your team more successful?
You will leave the training with a number of actions to make your team (even) more successful.

Workshop 2: "More responsibility with your team" by Steven Weijers & Petra Deen

How do you make your employees take more responsibility, in other words, how do you manage professionalism? Everyone talks about self-management, letting go and trusting employees. But how exactly does that work? Many managers struggle with the balance between steering and letting go. You want to give space and at the same time experience pressure from the organisation to achieve results. How do you get employees to feel more responsible, cooperate better and take action themselves? And, at the same time, how do you ensure that results are achieved?

The workshop teaches you what is needed to give a team more responsibility in a way that they can accept it. We give you concrete tools that you can apply within your team. In the workshop, we answer the following questions:
* How do you currently deal with responsibility?
* What does it mean for your team to be given more responsibility?
* How do you deal with this as a manager in a good way, and how do you keep control of results?

After the workshop, participants will receive the Powerpoint presentation of the workshop by e-mail.

Speaker(s)

Margot Dijker:

Margot has been providing skills training, such as leadership skills, communication and commercial skills, as a trainer since 1999. She has had her own training agency since 2004: Dijk training & coaching (www.dijktraining.nl). Workload management, focusing on team and personal effectiveness, she has been giving courses at various organisations including Phillips and Rabobank since 2001. The practical and effective structure of this training continues to be in high demand. What Margot Dijker achieves with the participants is not only learning the (new) skills, but especially retaining the results.

About the ResultAtelier:

Steven Weijers and Petra Deen own the ResultAtelier. They guide managers and their teams in achieving goals. These can be about working together more efficiently, improving procedures, responding better to commercial opportunities, or serving customers better. Resultaatatelier's working method is characterised by self-activity (teams and management realise the change themselves) and by doing (i.e. thinking, applying and adjusting).
