KIVI Chair Big Data Science
The Computer Science department works with the KIVI Chair Big Data Science, a collaboration between TU Delft and KIVI.
VRI and NGI
The department also collaborates with the VRI and NGI, among others. In 2014, for instance, the initiative was taken with KIVI to organise a lecture series. In these sessions, CxOs from large organisations are interviewed in front of a wide audience by Wijnand Westerveld, editor of Information and IT-Infra. Robert Bierwolf is the pulling force behind the organisation of these sessions.
Technical Universities and Colleges
The Department of Computer Science (IT) maintains contacts with Universities of Technology and Universities of Applied Sciences; this manifests itself, among other things, in participation in scientific research review committees and in invitations to students to attend seminars.
