Virtual Safety Academy conference
Description
The cooperation between Police Academy, Netherlands Defence Academy (NLDA), Netherlands Institute for Physical Security (NIFV) and Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) is the focus of this day.
In the Virtual Safety Academy (VVA) project, the Police Academy, Netherlands Defence Academy, Netherlands Institute of Physical Safety and Netherlands Forensic Institute have worked intensively together on the theme
crisis management. With an attractive and interactive programme, this conference will report on what this
cooperation has yielded in concrete terms so far and what we have learned from it.
In workshops, the subprojects Serious Games, Knowledge Environment, E-Learning and Interactive Learning Form will present themselves. There will also be a forum discussion on the theme 'The need for cooperation'.
Invited are not only stakeholders from the collaborating institutes, but also representatives from the wider security and crisis management domain.
The conference will take place in the simulation building of the Tactical Indoor Simulation (TACTIS). During the tour, you will learn how
the Royal Army uses computer technology to train simulated combat situations
