GMES in-situ data workshop at NSO
Description
The objectives of this workshop is to provide an introduction to Global Monitoring for Environment and Security(GMES) for potential users and to exchange information on the GMES in-situ component.
The morning session aims at providing an overview of GMES activities and products. The European Environmental Agency's (EEA) responsibilities within GMES are presented as well as the Netherlands activities within the GMES programme. Finally in four parallel sessions the GMES products are presented and discussed for the domains Land, Marine, Atmosphere and Emergency & Security.
