Get to know the defence sector. On 23 September 2021, the next edition of the annual course for young engineers who have or aspire to a job in Defence, a knowledge institute or one of the sector's companies will start

Only military personnel will be trained in defence technology. All other engineers who want to work in the defence sector must independently familiarise themselves with the special aspects and complex network. Think of political control, secrecy and ethical dilemmas. For those who do not know their way around, this is a laborious and often lengthy task.

In six theory days and eight technical days a complete overview and network

KIVI Defence & Security organises this course to quickly introduce young engineers to the special aspects of defence technology and working in the sector. Topics range from highly advanced technology, the organisation and role of the various organisations and political control to equipment procurement, innovation and logistics. It also covers Defence in relation to industry, Europe and the world. Finally, the course is not limited to objective facts and rules, but also covers topics as important for defence as security and ethics. Differences of opinion within the sector are also addressed. There will be room for debate and discussion.
