Last year, the HSD Office team worked hard to realise the goals from the 2020 annual plan.
Joris den Bruinen, chief executive officer: 'Responding to the major consequences of Corona, also felt by the organisations in our ecosystem. 2020 was also the year when we looked ahead and made a multi-year strategy, together with our partners and stakeholders. Despite the challenges posed by Corona, the result commitments from the 2020 annual plan were largely achieved and we are operationally and financially in control.
Among other things, we worked with 130 organisations on 12 innovation programmes with almost €2 million in triggered investments. We also unlocked more than 1,000 vacancies and internships through SecurityTalent, attracting 37,420 visitors. Unfortunately, some objectives could not be met by Corona, such as the organisation of the International Cybersecurity Summer School.
