Not only nuclear reactors produce radioactive waste but also hospitals, research institutes and industry do.
The Central Organisation for Radioactive Waste (COVRA) in Vlissingen collects, processes and stores the waste produced in the Netherlands.

On Friday 22 November 2013, KIVI NIRIA's Department of Technical Physics is organising an excursion to COVRA

- Reception in the information room with coffee, tea and soft drinks

- Watching company film and presentation on COVRA

- Visiting the permanent exhibition and
to the storage buildings

- Closing in the information room

You need to identify yourself with a valid ID (ID card, passport or driving license).
