On Thursday 28 November, the Dies natalis of S.V. Arago (University of Twente) will be celebrated.

The afternoon programme will start at 15.00 with a lecture by a guest speaker. This will be followed by a talk on the history of Arago, followed by the presentation of the Mevrouw de Winter Prize.

This year there will be a very special guest speaker: David Griffiths. He is the author of several textbooks used in the Bachelor of Engineering Physics course.

David Griffiths is flying in from America to the Netherlands to speak at various locations. His presentation will be on 'The Charge Distribution on a Conductor.'

Members of KIVI NIRIA are cordially invited to attend this afternoon

Following the lectures, David Griffiths will take time for a book signing session.
The afternoon will conclude with drinks in the TAP.
