ALV Geotechnics - lectures Dredging
Description
During the General Members' Meeting, the state of affairs regarding the Geotechnical Division will be explained. This will be followed by a number of lectures on the theme "Geotechnics in the dredging sector". The afternoon will end with drinks and an Asian buffet.

The programme is as follows:
14.30 h Reception with coffee/tea in the Asia Room
15.00 h General Assembly - Mandy Korff, chairman
16.00 h Open Earth as geotechnical data management system for large hydraulic fill projects - Thijs Damsma and Wouter Karreman (Van Oord)
16.45 hrs Break and optional group visit to dredging equipment simulators
17.15 hrs Hydraulic fill manual explained - Bart Hooiveld (Boskalis / Hydronamic)
17.35 h Introduction to SSB dredging research with example projects - Ronald van der Hout (Van Oord)
18.00 h Buffet and drinks / optional group visit to dredging equipment simulators (until 18.45 h)
19.30 h End of meeting
During the meeting, the first copy of the book "Geology for Engineers" will be handed out.
All participants of the meeting will receive this book for free.
