Description

On the eastern side of Jerusalem, between the city and the Dead Sea, between the history of Jerusalem and
Bethlehem, runs the Kidron Valley. This valley is of great historical and religious as well as
ecological and social value. The valley has been ravaged by a tidal wave of sewage and rubbish, causing a loss of both its ecological and social value. Due to the complex political and technical situation, no solution has been found so far.

An impressive group of people have started to solve the first process problems and technical issues in the area itself. From the Netherlands, we can contribute. Whether it can become a project with a chance of success depends on finances, social solutions, politics and a lot of personal commitment.

On this evening, the presentation will first explain the project and the process. Then we will brainstorm what contribution we as Dutch Engineers can make to move the process forward.

Walk-in from 19.00. Presentation and discussion 19.30-22.00 hrs.
