Natuurmonumenten and the Royal Dutch Water Network (KNW) cordially invite you to an inspiring working visit to De Onlanden near Groningen, where water storage and nature development go hand in hand.
Discover how this 2,500-hectare area, once farmland, has been transformed into a natural climate buffer that protects Groningen from flooding and provides resilience in times of drought. Be inspired by the power of cooperation, learn from the success factors and contribute ideas on how to apply this approach elsewhere in the Netherlands.
This is the kick-off of a series of excursions in which we, together with water and nature professionals, will search for robust, future-proof water systems. Sign up and get inspired by De Onlanden!
