We all know we need to go green in every sector. But how do you start this in a conservative sector like shipping, where ships easily have 25 years of commercial life and they often sail 6,000 hours a year with high power requirements.

CMB.TECH is a pioneer and reference in sustainable shipping. Since 2017, they have built first passenger ferry with dual fuel hydrogen technology. Since then, they have launched a newbuilding programme that exceeds 50x ocean-going vessels that will either be powered by hydrogen or ammonia.

CMB.TECH's CTO will tell the story of how their first projects came about and how the story is now being built on. The Hydrotug and Hydrocat will also be explained during the presentation. The technology and role of dual fuel combustion technology will be explained in detail as a keystone to enable a cost-effective energy transition.
