Our society is becoming increasingly dependent on energy. The depletion of fossil fuels forces us to look for sustainable energy supplies. Avans has been actively working on this for many years, in close cooperation with the business community, to continue to promote and teach Smart Grids within educationÃÂÂÃÂÂ

In addition to smart electrical grids, heat grids will be increasingly necessary for the energy transition to be successful. To this end, the possibilities of heat networks, focused on Brabant cities, will be explained by practical experts during this meeting.

The Smart Energy lectorate also contributes to this development and will also present its vision during this meeting, including a visit to an energy-neutral lab in which the practice of energy networks has been realised and where it is transferred to students.
