Description

ASML is a high-tech company based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, dedicated to the development, production and service of complex systems for the production of computer chips. ASML is an industry leader and supplies its machines to almost all major chip suppliers in the world. The company has more than 8,700 employees worldwide, of which more than 5,500 are in the Netherlands. About half of these employees are academically educated and about a third have an HBO education.

The meeting will discuss the semiconductor industry in general and ASML's position in particular. Furthermore, ASML's technology will be explained, with an emphasis on the new technologies that are on the market now or will be in the near future. In particular, this will cover the technical aspects of immersion and EUV lithography
