KIVI Department of Mechanics partners
Besides KIVI Mechanics Section's connections with the other departments, several companies and the three technical universities (TU Delft, TU Eindhoven & University of Twente), Mechanics Section also has a number of important partners.
Netherlands Mechanics Committee (NMC)
To strengthen the international position of Dutch solid and fluid mechanics, the Netherlands Mechanics Committee (NMC) has been established. It operates as an umbrella body over the EM and JMBC research schools and the KIVI Mechanics Department.
The Graduate School on Engineering Mechanics (EM)
The Graduate School on Engineering Mechanics is a research school focused on providing additional education and training for PhD students. It is a collaboration between the three Dutch technical universities (TU Delft, TU Eindhoven & University of Twente).
J.M. Civic Centre - Research School for Fluid Mechanics (JMBC)
The J.M. Burgerscentrum (JMBC) is a Dutch research school in the field of fluid mechanics. Around 50 professors and their groups from the three technical universities (TU Delft, TU Eindhoven & University of Twente), Wageningen UR, Radboud University Nijmegen, University of Leiden, University of Utrecht and University of Groningen combine their expertise here to advance research in fluid mechanics.
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Benelux
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Benelux is a non-profit organisation that promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing and skills development in all engineering disciplines.
