Rail systems HSL-South
Description
HSL-South is the Dutch part of the European network of high-speed lines, an innovative and high-quality public transport system as an alternative to cars and aeroplanes. From 2008, high-speed trains with a top speed of 300 kilometres per hour will take train passengers quickly, safely and comfortably over the HSL from Amsterdam to Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels and Paris.
An important part of this project is the superstructure: the track, the overhead lines and the safety system. The Platform Railsystemen invites you to a lecture on the design and construction of the Rheda 2000 railway structure in relation to the contract.
