Mission
Our mission is to promote engineering-level vehicle engineering in the Netherlands. This includes road vehicles and automotive mobility in the broadest sense: from passenger cars and trucks to special and light commercial vehicles.
We mean by automotive mobility all powered forms of (road) transport for people and goods, involving both the vehicles and the technology for design and production, propulsion, communication with the means of transport and social acceptance of new technologies. The influence of infrastructure, policy and regulation is relevant only if it affects technology.
In doing so, we emphasise innovation, sustainability and digitalisation as drivers for the future of mobility.
