Description

You probably know it, you are young, successful and everyone says you are talented. You put your best foot forward to be successful and live up to expectations. Projects have to be finished and preferably today or even better yesterday. How do you deal with that? How do you make sure you don't fall over?

To gain insight into this, we invite you to take part in the workshop "Performance under pressure"

"Performance under pressure"
What is it that makes a top footballer miss the penalty he managed to score flawlessly during training sessions when it really matters? Why is it that a professional goalkeeper smashes his fist against a concrete wall out of frustration after a match has been played, thereby putting himself and his team at a long-term disadvantage? Why do some entrepreneurs lose track at the moment when they were successful before? The talent to perform under pressure is undoubtedly one of the qualities of successful people.

The workshop "Performance under pressure" shows the relationship between Pressure on the one hand and Performance on the other. Although we need a certain amount of pressure to (want to) excel, too much pressure generally causes declining performance. More knowledge, skills and experience then usually turn out to be insufficient to improve performance; after all, we were already good.

The workshop shows where this pressure comes from and provides some practical tools and handles to reduce the pressure and get on with what you are good at
