Young KIVI Engineers helps young professionals towards the next step

Growing as an engineer starts with insight, and that is exactly what the YKE Growth Programme offers. Last Tuesday evening, 30 September, young engineers gathered for an intensive session guided by a KIVI coach. During this meeting, participants worked on their Personal Development Plan (PDP), based on the five core competences of Chartered and Incorporated Engineering: Knowledge, Skills, Leadership, Communication and Commitment.

Discover, reflect and grow

Under the guidance of experienced coaches, participants discovered which engineering role suits them best, where their strengths lie and how they want to develop further. With a concrete development plan in their pockets, they can immediately start working on their next step as professionals. The group was split into smaller break-out groups to focus on the development plan.

Preparation for the Talent Programme

The YKE Growth Programme is an independent pathway, but it is also the ideal preparation for the YKE Talent Programme , a deepening annual programme in which participants work on their professional growth towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with a KIVI coach, a network of peers and master classes. The next Talent Programme will start on 28 October.

YKE offers young professionals the opportunity to further develop their professional knowledge, personal skills and network.
