Discover the power of connection at KIVI Region Limburg
This site of Region Limburg is a meeting place for engineers who have indicated to exchange more information about this (professional) field and network contacts.
In addition, the region organises several activities per year, e.g. a lecture on the Heerlen mining water project, a visit to Bombardier/Talbot railway carriage factory and round-table discussions for knowledge exchange with students from colleges and universities.
We are also very interested in what our members would like to see from their association; then we are talking about activities but also networking and knowledge exchange etc..
Hence, specifically, our question to you
- Are there any members who have ideas regarding activities and would like to share them with us?
- Are there any members who are willing to occasionally (at your convenience) organise an activity?
- Are there any members who have ideas regarding an activity and would like to organise it themselves?
- Student associations can make proposals for knowledge building and exchange!
- Career choice or looking for a better job that suits you. We can have you tested for your preferences that will help you start a new job happier.
You can think of a visit to your own company or a lecture or workshop on an interesting topic.
The framework in that case will be provided by the board of Limburg, i.e. after
approval of the activity, the board will take care of the mailing, financial side and web page update
and where possible advise, e.g. on locations.
Sustainability and transitions to sustainable living
In addition to the above, the region's board is in the process of setting up a cycle of lectures/presentations in the context of sustainability and transitions to sustainable living.
As far as we are concerned, the cycle could consist of meetings to which several companies contribute, or of meetings where one company only provides the company presentations.
