The KIVI North Region Board is pleased to invite you to the North Region ALV and a KIVI strategy session. Of course, we do this in compliance with the corona rules in the interest of your and our safety.

Due to the corona crisis, the general members' meeting of Region North last March/April could not take place. We would like to exchange views with you and prior to the strategy session with main board member Toon Buddingh and KIVI Director Bart Struwe.

Interim director Bart Struwe was appointed by the KIVI Main Board in mid-2019. Besides tasks to support progress, he was tasked with outlining a perspective for the course KIVI should take into the future in offering to its members and role in society.

For this assignment, Bart carried out a broad survey within the association with a number of information rounds among both older and younger members and non-members. In our North Netherlands region, he visited several times to soundboard with interested members on the basis of his growing perception of the possibilities.

He has since worked out a plan for our future that is supported by the Central Board and Council of Members. Together with colleagues from the bureau and a number of departments, he has also started implementing it. Toon and Bart would like to use a new meeting in Region North to explain the new course and address any questions that may arise.
