Visit to Twente Hospital Group
Always wanted to know how a hospital ensures that robots work safely, or that drinking water is always reliable?
On Tuesday 7 May, you can visit hospital ZGT (Ziekenhuis Groep Twente) in Hengelo. During this session, Michaël Lansbergen, member of the main KIVI board and 2011 Engineer of the Year, and his colleagues will tell you all about Risk Management across the full spectrum of all technology used within the hospital.
After a general introduction, we will focus extensively on the risk management of technology in healthcare: how does ZGT deal with the risks involved in the use of robots, of a home care app, but also more general topics such as securing water quality and the energy supply will be discussed. Of course, this also includes data security. ZGT will have speakers from different backgrounds discuss various aspects of safety, quality and efficiency around technology within the hospital.
At the end of the meeting, there will also be a tour of various departments. A sandwich and a cup of soup will be provided.
The maximum number of participants for this activity is 40 people.
